This paper examines the concept of the incarnation of the Word becoming flesh as the basis for the church's mission of peace in the context of Christian-Hindu dialogue. Incarnation is understood as God's initiative to come down to earth to bring love, solidarity, and restoration through the presence of Christ. Through a comparative theological approach, this study highlights the similarities and differences between incarnation and the concept of avatar in Hinduism, particularly in relation to the divine vision of descending to uphold truth, restore cosmic order, and bring peace. Ideas in both traditions show that divine presence is always related to love, justice, and the renewal of human life. The results of this study confirm that the paradigm of incarnation can be the basis for the church's mission in Indonesia, which is incarnational, dialogical, and transformational. Thus, Christian- Hindu dialogue is not only a theological discourse, but a means of bringing shalom and shanti to life in a pluralistic society, as well as a tangible contribution to interfaith peace efforts.
